How long will it take to make my handcrafted product

Once your order has been processed, we will begin preparing your piece.

HOW DO I FIND OUT MY RING SIZE?

When it comes to ring sizes, there are Three methods to measure the right size for you.

The first method is to measure the inner diameter of an existing ring you own and compare the measurements to the chart above or by place the ring on a ring chart like the one linked here,

The second method is to measure your finger with a piece of string or strip of paper:

Wrap the piece of string or paper around the base of your finger and mark where the ends overlap. measure the points marked on a ruler to get the circumference of the ring in millimetres.

Repeat again around your middle knuckle, as a ring should snugly fit over the knuckle without being too difficult to remove.

Repeat the process 2-3 times to ensure you have an accurate measurement, as the skin on your fingers expands and contracts when they are warm or cold.

Compare the bigger of the two measurements to the chart above to find your measurements

The last method is to use a ring sizer like the one on this open source ring and sizer chart.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?

When it comes to taking care of your jewellery there are some best practices that will help protect them from general wear and tear:

For general cleaning, some soapy lukewarm water with a soft sponge will do the trick and protect your jewellery from being damaged while being cleaned.
When putting on lotions and creams, remember to take off your jewellery as the chemicals in most creams will tarnish jewellery over time.
If you are going to be doing any physical labour, its advised to remove your jewellery to prevent scratching and damage to the stones.
Keep your jewellery away from chemicals high in chlorine or sulphur as contact with these chemicals will cause your jewellery to tarnish and corrode.
Take off your jewellery before swimming or taking a shower/bath.
For storing your jewellery, Store it separately and ideally in a soft lined box, away from direct sunlight and humid conditions. This will ensure that the pieces don't scratch each other or the stones set into them.

General tips to remember:

Jewellery is not indestructible and needs to be cared for .
